Benefits of the PQQ

What is PQQ?

Pyrroloquinoline Quinone is a vitamin-like compound found in plant-based foods that is showing a wide variety of benefits for brain and body function based on studies and evaluations. Although PQQ is not currently considered, it is likely that it will be considered an essential nutrient in the future.

What is the PQQ used for?

PQQ stimulates growth and serves as a cofactor for a special class of enzymes involved in cell function, including cell growth, development, differentiation, and survival. It is also a very powerful antioxidant with the ability to catalyze the continuous cycle to a much greater degree than other antioxidants.

Scientific studies show that:

Why should we take PQQ?

Given the nutritional importance of this compound, there are considerable benefits in conditions revolving around low mitochondrial function including aging, multiple neuronal diseases, and other chronic degenerative diseases.

PQQ has the ability to protect memory and cognition in the aging process of animals and humans.

What foods contain PQQ?

PQQ has been found to be present in all plant foods. Some rich PQQ vegetables are parsley, green peppers, kiwi, papaya, and tofu. Green tea also provides significant amounts.

How and when is PQQ taken?

The recommended dose is 10 to 20 mg daily, based on the equivalent dose in animals shown to have beneficial effects. The dose of 20 mg daily as a dietary supplement has been shown to improve memory in clinical studies.

With one dose of POWER you can achieve all the benefits mentioned above.

How does PQQ work in the brain?

A key action of PQQ involves a direct action on key enzymes involved in cellular production compartments called mitochondria. As an effect, it improves energy production. PQQ has been shown to slow brain aging by helping existing mitochondria work more efficiently and promoting the formation of new ones.

PQQ has also been shown to help prevent the neurotoxicity that is so damaging to the brain, and to restore cerebral blood flow.

What are the side effects of PQQ?

There are no known side effects when PQQ is used at the recommended dose, since it is a compound that we can find in basic diet foods and a very high dose would be needed to cause a significant imbalance.
